My story
Hi, I'm Mariano.
I was born in Colombia and spent 30 years living and working in Canada. Today I live in Colombia and work remotely with local businesses across the U.S.
I'm passionate about marketing, especially local marketing: how people search, what makes them trust a business, and what makes them finally pick up the phone. I keep seeing great local businesses lose customers to competitors only because they're harder to find online. Their work is excellent. Their online presence isn't. I started Toolbelt Local to fix that.
When you work with me, you get straight answers, no long contracts and no jargon. I'll tell you what's worth fixing, what isn't, and what I see every month. You're busy running your business. My job is to keep it complete, accurate and active everywhere customers look for you.
